It is Sunday and my prayer is that I do not presume how the Lord will work today in the gatherings that I attend. It is not for me or you to instruct God about what would be best for Him to do among us. His omniscience takes all into consideration and He has ordained a perfect plan for what He will accomplish. We do well to learn and discern what that plan of His is and to participate in it joyfully and expectantly. Our King does not always interact with us in the same manner as the Sunday before – we see that portrayed in His earthly life and ministry as He went about doing all manner of good. Though He acted differently in each unique setting, Jesus Christ always acted in full righteousness. At various times Jesus is seen in the Scriptures as being:
Righteously angry
Righteously sorrowful
Righteously confrontational
Righteously tolerant
Righteously silent
Righteously declarative
Righteously aggressive
Righteously protective
Righteously disobedient to legalism
Righteously obedient to His Father’s will
Righteously pursuing
Righteously withdrawing
Righteously indicting
Righteously forgiving
Righteously healing, teaching, serving, radiating, receiving and loving.
Righteously born, righteously dying and righteously alive again.
Hallelujah, what a Savior!
“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Hm we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Cor. 5:21
Jesus made everyone right with God! It is mind boggling to me how anyone could deny Him! I can’t wait to be with Him. Come quickly Jesus! God bless you, Jeff, and your wonderful family. I wish I lived close enough to be part of your assembly, but I am able to watch you on my iPad over and over as many times as I wish, which is wonderful. Praise God!!!
