If your are accustomed to coming by the TT blog daily you’ve noticed that there hasn’t been much going on here this week. Truth be known, my mind is a little disengaged and I’ve decided that writing nothing is better than writing badly.
Here’s what’s up: Amy and I are scheduled to close the sale of our new home next Tuesday and, because of the looonnnnngggg delay in waiting for the sale to finalize, we are backed up against a wall. Between now and my leaving for a men’s conference on 2/10 I have to do the following: finalize the new home sale, coordinate the painting the interior of the new house, have all carpets cleaned and some carpet replaced, pack up our current belongings, move our current belongings, arrange delivery and oversee setup of new furniture and appliances, unpack all our current belongings, set up utilities at the new house, do some minor repairs at the new house, get our former house painted and fixed up for the waiting renters, have a garage sale to rid ourselves of unwanted items, rent a storage space and move items we must keep, prepare sermons, interview new Youth Pastor candidates, learn how to square-dance, write a romance novel, rescue kittnes from trees without the aid of the local fire department, climb Mount Everest, raise grandchildren, find a cure for baldness and halitosis and combine them into one pill and ensure that my wife and kids know that I love them.
Because of this my blogs shall be sporadic for several days henceforth.
I think I got Job Searching Fog and mouse clicking whiplash.
Pastor, let me know if i can help. I will be back in town about 12:30 am Sunday morning.
