There is a frenzied activity in the devil’s armory today.
Many weapons are being forged in the fires and on the anvil.
Strategies have been finalized against this Lord’s Day and against all those worshipers who recognize Sunday as something special.
Assignments have been communicated and specifically tailored in a way that intends to bring frustration, futility and failure against the army of God, lest we reveal again the power and preciousness of Jesus Christ.
Today, Hell would have our songs be in word only, our sermons to be clanging cymbals, our acts of service and giving to be done with great weariness or deep guilt.
“Cause all their ministry be routine and without high expectation! Distract those Christians from the possibility of giving our Opponent the glory!” – can you hear that battle cry echoing from the abyss?
Isolate the missionary, depress the widow, increase loneliness for the single person, overwhelm that mommy, fill those pastors with pride…and drop the atom bomb of selfishness on top of every church steeple! Rouse their sense of entitlement – convince them that they are owed something from somebody! Let them worry and hurry and scurry. Interrupt their sense of rest and peace at all cost, lest they hear His awful voice from that maddening throne!!!
But God is also present in all Satan’s warehouses and war rooms. As soon as every crafted weapon is drawn from the fire, hammered out on the anvil of demons and dry from hissing in the waters wherein they were plunged…Father reminds them of their defeat as He writes something with His omnipotent finger across ever weapon’s blade in the hands of the enemy:
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed.” – Isaiah 54:17
The enemy knows that he is fighting a losing battle. Let us remember that today. The victory is ours. The enemy really does know that his campaign is done for. Do not believe his lies against you. He cannot win without your own permission and cooperation. Evict him. He simply does not belong in your head.
You have been made an overcomer.
In your live message today you reminded us believers not to focus on man’s finite kingdom outside of us, but God’s infinite kingdom within us. Your “No Weapon” message also reminds me to think of the big picture, knowing that everything the devil is doing is real, but irrelevant.
Keep bringing transforming truth!
