It has been 97 days since our lives were changed. The love of my life has not stood on her feet since about 3:45 on Thursday, June 16th. Amy has submitted to five surgeries on her arms and legs and a long healing process as bones have mended, nerves reconnected and joints, tendons and ligaments continue to return to the pre-accident condition. Through it all she has displayed spiritual confidence, physical endurance and emotional tenacity. Today we will both ride in her van and, after depositing the children at school, travel to a nearby city where she will be introduced to medical staff that seek to train her how to stand, balance and walk. This is a big day that we have waited for.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10 {ESV}
If you would, please take some time to pray on her behalf. She’s a determined lady but this is where the rubber meets the road and we begin the process of our future. Amy is trusting God for a full regaining of ability and it will need to be God that grants the affirmation of that desire. She confessed this week that she is both thrilled and hesitant about this initial meeting. Please ask our God to supply the peace that passes all understanding as she surrenders her will, her mind, her emotions and her body to her Father.
She knows that she is in capable hands.
Thanks,
Jeff
We cannot describe our thrill when we saw the pictures of Amy walking with the walker on your twitter.Praise be to our LORD.He promised to answer our prayers when they are lifted up with full faith. Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you,seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you”. We are always praying for Amy and will always do, waiting on God”s miracles for they are near,

Praying!
Praise the Lord…. this has been a long process, getting to this point. This is the time to fully trust the Lord, when we realize how months of inactivity have weakened our muscles and protected our healing wounds, but I do know Amy and I know that she is determined. Actually Amy has gotten through the worst of it, in my estimation. Now is the time for hard work. It will be a pleasure to be tired from strenious activity. Praise the Lord and he will continue to encourage you.
Our love to you both.
Praise the Lord for His mercies are new avery morning. As I was praying this morning, I considered Amy and her situation and brought it to the Mighty God of Heaven. Amy, know you are not alone in this fight to recovery, we are praying for you and beleiving God for your total healing.
My morning prayer today was for you to be restored hole to your family once again and I know He hears our petitions. Be strong and of good courage, the road ahead is difficult, but He is more than conqueror and will give you the strength to go on.
God bless and prosper this meeting and the many more to come.
Love in Christ
