Hi, everyone. I just wanted to post a quick note this morning and let you know that I will head into surgery in a few hours. The hospital called late Monday night and told us that the surgery had been bumped up from an afternoon slot to a morning slot. Amy and I will arrive at the hospital at 7 AM and then the festivities shall begin!
I am very grateful for the kind notes, prayers and words from Scripture that have been shared with me over the last couple of weeks since we announced my medical challenge. This tumor is coming out of my neck today. God will guide the surgeon and staff and I will emerge safely a few hours after they begin to extract this foreign invader out of my neck. I am told that I will have a decent sized scar running down the side of my neck as a souvenir of the procedure. My teenaged son thinks that this will be very cool. We cannot be sure about the precise length of my recovery, but it will be a little while before I am able to post again on the blog. My hope is that it will be just a few days before that happens. When I bounce back, I plan to begin to work on releasing my first book which should be publicly available this month. I am excited about that endeavor, and you will be able to get a copy right here off of the Transforming Truth website if you desire. I also look forward to return to writing these devotional blogs each week. Keep your eyes open – I’m not finished on planet earth yet!
Blessings to each of you,
Jeff
GOD BLESS you Jeff, I have been watching you for years and have received many blessings just to know you and hear your sermons. I am praying for you and trusting GOD to take care of you, n, I don;t believe he is through with you yet. LOVE AND PRAYERS TO YOU AND AMY, and children.
Love you Dude!
Get some rest…
We’ll be here when you get back in a few days! 😉
I just saw you on TV today and googled you today and want you to know I am praying for you. Jesus is the healer. He is our hope and God has angels assigned to you and your family, His grace is sufficient for us. I have a brain tumor too! I was diagnosed in 2015 with a rare skull based meningioma. I just picked up the MRI copy from September 2019, and the local neurologist Opthomologist just told me in no certain terms to contact my brain surgeon at MD Anderson. She scratched her head asking me if I was depressed, among several other symptoms, I should be having… I laughed and said NO. I have Jesus…. I don’t believe in accidents and who better to encourage you than someone else one a similar journey. BTW. I just started a non profit helping women struggling with addiction, sexual abuse, sex trafficking, homelessness,, etc. God told me to name it Transformation Hope….. 🙂
Anxious to hear an update after surgery. Praying
