Everything I will enjoy today was, in one way or another, made possible through the sacrifices of others. I join you in humbled gratitude for their sacrifices. God blessed me to learn as a child from a father who served in the Air Force and a grandfather who was a career officer in the Army. These two men impacted my life greatly and were safeguarded in battle by providence. Countless other men and women paid the ultimate price in fighting for our nation. To these we owe an unspeakable debt of gratitude and we set aside Monday May 26, 2014 as a time for their memorial. It would be a most-desired, highly undeserved treasure for God to continue to bless the United States Of America. Let this continue to be our hope and prayer.
Thank you – to those who fought and died and to the people who loved them.
