No-Staggering Zone

Jeff emotions, FAITH

The weekend ends.  Your freedom is replaced with duty and responsibility.  Traffic is once again your enemy, and your next opportunity to avoid all your have-to’s is approximately five days away.  Yes, it’s Monday and you may find yourself less than enthusiastic about this reality.  I share your pain on most Mondays, but today is different.  Today I’ve chosen not to stagger and, instead, to stand strong in the promises of God through faith.

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” – Romans 4:20

You have Holy Spirit-imparted strength today.

You have the Father’s love today.

Through Jesus Christ, you have God’s full and final acceptance today – no matter how you might be presently feeling.

Jesus has gone before you today, and will provide you wisdom for every decision, power for each challenge, grace for every ache, and humility for your response to anyone who opposes you.

He has promised to provide your daily portion of every single thing you need today. You need not be anxious over tomorrow because you will not find that you have what you need for tomorrow until tomorrow becomes another today.

God’s countenance is confidently smiling even if your circumstances are scowling at you.

Holy Spirit already sees you laying yourself down in bed tonight after having accomplished all that He allocated for you today.

He is your God and has not gone anywhere.  He’s got this today.

This is how I’m thinking today.  This is why this Monday is going to better than most of my Mondays.  God has my mind in the right place, and I’ve just given you a piece of it in case you had the need too.  Blessings to you today, friend.
