For a while we have been contemplating changing the layout of the TT blog. One of my desires is that there would be a little more interaction among those of you who stop by to read the morning posts Sunday through Thursday. So many of you are kind to fire off some emails or send me personal words of encouragement from time to time, but I feel a little guilty at being the only one able to benefit from what you write. Among those who peruse the TT site and read the blog are: stay-at-home-moms, missionaries, retired senior citizens, prisoners, Christians from outside of America, pastors, business men and women, teachers and a wide host of other people-types. What an incredible spectrum of Christian experience is represented among those who check in each day! We have made some tweaks to the blog to make it a lot easier for you to share some of your insights. I’m hoping that you will regularly take a moment to respond to what you read so that we might be mutually engaged at building one another up in the faith. Commenting makes the blog much more interesting and it breaks the monotony of me being the only one whose views are presented. You have something to offer and we want to hear from you!
Below each blog there is now a more accessible comment section. All you need to do is put in your name (it can be an online name or your real name) and your email address. Your email will never be made public. Then you can take a moment to share some of your thoughts about what you’ve read. Not only can you comment about the blog topic that day, you can comment about what others have written. Our goal is to stimulate some edifying conversation among those who read. We are all adults (for the most part) and have unique viewpoints on the various things in the Kingdom of God. Don’t keep it all to yourself! Someone else needs what you have to say and God will make good use of your input. Check back in tomorrow and I’ll post something of substance for us to get started with. Feel free to comment today and give it a try.
Let the redeemed of the Lord comment so!
God bless, Jeff
Hi Jeff,
I like the new look. Easy to navigate, clearer to see– whoever worked on the page did a great job. I check in from time to time to read your posts. I appreciate you and the wisdom the Lord has given you. Thanks for serving us all.
Peace,
John Lehmberg
I didn’t know you had time to be a blog/forum moderator!
But anything (and any place) that encourages fellowship and electroconversation (a new word!) is a good thing. I know I am guilty of visiting many blogs and passing on without comment; and if you can encourage others to come out of the shadows and join the comment stream, that will be good.
Needless to say, your blog posts are always good soul-food, and “provocative” in the best sense – stirring us readers to examine what we think. Perhaps more of us will then actually let you know what we think by way of comment without being afraid to do so …
Blessings, brother
David, you may not realize it but yours was the first blog I ever became a consistent follower of. That seems like a hundred years ago in many ways. Your comments here will be more than welcome…but I’d much rather be able to comment on a blog that YOU write. Time to let your blog be reborn? Consider the seed planted in your mind. 🙂
I fall into the “semi-people-type” category! Hope this does stimulate a healthy dialog where we can all learn, discuss and grow.
Glen, your comments and personal notes to me always have something to offer. Keep at it!
