It is the Sunday before Christmas and I cannot wait to preach from Luke 2 this morning. My plan for our annual Christmas Eve service tomorrow is to share briefly on the “Fear Not’s!” surrounding the birth of Christ. We will meet tomorrow evening at Meadow at 5:30 pm and enjoy singing, a time for the children to minister in music, a candlelight celebration and then…off to our homes to enjoy Christmas. Join us tomorrow evening at 1446 Calvin Davis Circle in if you can. I’ll be signing off until Thursday or Friday of this week as I spend some time with my precious three at home. Merry Christmas! – Jeff
“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people.” – Luke 2:10
All People…
To the young, and to the old
To the weak, and to the mighty
To the intelligent, and to the ignorant
To the poor, and to the wealthy
To the prized people, and to the forgotten people
To the loved, and to the forsaken
To white, brown, and black and oliveTo the African, the Hispanic, the Anglo and the Asian
To the moral and the immoral, the religious and the skeptic
To the arrogantly self sufficient and the desperately needy
To the brave and to the timid
To the victim and to the criminal
To the hopeful and to the indifferent
To those running to God and those running from God
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IS STILL NEWS FOR ALL PEOPLE!
The Christmas Eve candlelight service is one of my favorite services @ Meadow, My family and I will be there to worship with you all and celebrate the birth of our King!
